What we set, and when
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for a site to function at all. Most are not, and the ones that are not should be your decision. On this site nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set until you have answered the banner, and if you decline, nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set at all.
Here is everything, by category.
Strictly necessary Always on
Keeps the site secure and working: page delivery, form security tokens, spam throttling, and remembering the choice you make here. These do not identify you and cannot be switched off.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
bb_consent |
Blur Brands | Stores the cookie choice you made, so you are not asked on every page. | 6 months |
wordpress_*, wp-settings-* |
WordPress | Set only for signed-in site administrators. A normal visitor never receives these. | Session to 1 year |
__hs_opt_out, __hs_do_not_track |
HubSpot | Records that you declined HubSpot tracking. Set only when you decline, and its whole job is to keep you untracked. | 6 months to 1 year |
Analytics Off until you allow it
Tells us which pages get read and how people arrive. This includes linking your browsing history to your contact record if you later get in touch. Turning this off does not stop you from contacting us and does not lose your inquiry.

_ga, _ga_54XRF8JR0E |
Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors and sessions so we can count readers and see which pages hold attention. | 2 years |
hubspotutk |
HubSpot | Identifies your browser across visits and links that history to your contact record if you submit a form. | 6 months |
__hstc, __hssc, __hssrc |
HubSpot | Records visit timestamps, session counts, and which site sent you here. | Session to 6 months |
Marketing Off until you allow it
Campaign measurement and retargeting: seeing which of our work brings people here, and reaching similar audiences elsewhere. With this off, your visit is never used for either, on this site or anywhere we advertise.
Cookies in this category are named here individually while a campaign is running.
A note about our contact form
Declining analytics does not stop you from contacting us and does not cause an inquiry to be lost. The contact form is processed on our own server and saved before any third party is involved, so it works identically whether you accept or decline.
The difference is what surrounds it. If you accept analytics, HubSpot can tell us which pages you read before you wrote, which helps us understand what people find useful. If you decline, your message arrives on its own, with no browsing history attached. Either way we get your message and either way we reply.
Changing your mind
Use the button below, or the cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent is one click, exactly like giving it, and turning a category off also deletes the cookies that category already set.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies for every site you visit. That works too, and it will not break anything here.
